Beach T 902 lies 200 m further into the river and consists of a curving 250 m long low wave energy beach sheltered by the extensive bars and river mouth shoals that extend 1 km to the west. Low wave to calm conditions usually prevail along the narrow beach, which is backed by a high tide boulder beach then slopes rising to the edge of the Arthur River houses. While waves are usually low at the beach the deep river channel and strong tidal flow run just off the shore and present a hazardous location for swimming.
Beach Length: 0.25km
General Hazard Rating: 5/10
