Beach T 904 is located 500 m to the west and consists of curving 600 m long south-facing moderately exposed sandy beach, bordered by low rocky points with a central rock outcrop (Fig. 4.180). It is partly sheltered by inner and outer reefs with waves averaging 1.5-2 m and breaking across an outer bar which links with the river mouth shoals 400-500 m offshore. The inner bar is usually drained by permanent rips to either end. It is backed by a grassy foredune and older vegetated dunes extending 2.5 km inland, while vehicle tracks reach both ends of the beach.
