Beaches T 898, 899 and 900 are three pockets of sand that occupy part of a 600 m long section of rocky shore that extends south of the point to link with the Arthur Beach system (beaches T 887-894). A 4WD track from Arthur River runs along the foredune at the rear of the beach to link with the main beach. The high waves of the main beach and 400 m wide surf zone continue along the rocky section with the rock disrupting the inner bar and in places the second bar, while the third bar continues essentially undisturbed, widening in the north as it links with the wide river mouth shoals. Beach T 898 is an open 100 m long pocket of sand that commences 200 m north of beach T 897 and is wedged between rock platforms, with a discontinuous southern rock ridge extending out to the second bar. Waves break across the bars and reefs with a permanent rip flowing along the inside of the reef.
