Beach T 879 commences at the northern foreland and curves to the northwest and finally west for 700 m to terminate in lee of the low rocky Rebecca Point. The beach faces southwest across scattered reefs, which permit waves averaging 1-1.5 m to reach the shore where they maintain a 50 m wide surf zone with a central rocky outcrop. Usually small rips form against the boundary rocks as well as either side of the outcrop. The hummocky foredune narrows to 100 m at the point and rises to 20 m behind the centre of the beach. A vehicle track runs around the rear of the dune to reach the point.
Beach Length: 0.7km
General Hazard Rating: 6/10
