Beach T 886 commences 200 m to the north, past the boundary rocks, and trends almost due north for 900 m to the mouth of Sardine Creek which crosses the beach in lee of a 10 m high vegetated rocky point. There are four rock outcrops on the beach and in the surf, linked by a continuous bar that increases in width to 100 m in the north and is cut by three rock-controlled rips, the largest amongst the northern reefs. Most of the beach receives waves averaging 1.5 m and more, with only the southern corner relatively sheltered with lower waves. The beach is backed by vegetated dune-draped bluffs rising to 30 m and extending 200-300 m inland. It can be accessed in the south off the Sarah Anne Rocks road.
Beach Length: 0.9km
General Hazard Rating: 7/10
