Beach T 1007 is located on the eastern side of the point and is a curving, 100 m long north-facing beach fronted by a 150 m wide intertidal bar with rock reef bordering either side and extending to low tide. During higher waves a rip flows out against the western point. It is backed by 20 m wide low vegetated bluffs in the centre and then the highway, with an access path to the western end of the beach. Rock platforms and reefs extend east of the beach for 250 m with beaches T 1008 and 1009 located in amongst the rocks.
