Beach T 1004 lies amongst the rocks that form the low rocky eastern point of Edgcumbe Beach. It consists of a double crenulate 100 m long narrow high tide beach fronted by a 20 m wide strip of sand, then 100 m wide intertidal rock flats, with low rocky points extending 100-200 m seaward to either side to form a small embayment. Waves are lowered by the rocks, reefs and point with usually low wave to calm conditions at the shore. It is backed by low grassy terrain and a solitary house.
