Pavement Point is a 200 m wide low sandstone point capped by bare rock ridges with vegetation in between. Beach T 928 is located immediately east of the point and consists of a 150 m long north-facing low energy sandy beach fronted by shallow reefs. It is bordered by low rocky shore and backed by cleared farmland, the southernmost coastal farmland on the west coast.
