Beach T 888 forms the northern boundary of the bay shoreline. It is a protruding 650 m long beach that wraps around the sand-draped point between four major reefs which form cuspate bays and forelands along the sandy beach. The southern end receives waves up to 1 m and more, which maintain a low tide terrace and a rip against the rocks near the river mouth. In the north the reefs extend 500 m offshore and lower the waves to less than 1 m with usually reflective conditions at the shore.
