The beach curves to the southeast for 800 m terminating against a 150 m long section of low rocks. The beach receives wind waves averaging over 1 m, which maintain a 300 m wide ultradissipative beach backed by densely vegetated low dunes. There is vehicle access from the highway to the southern end of the beach.
