Beaches T 1031-1034 occupy the shoreline of an open 1.5 km wide northeast-facing rocky bay, bordered in the south by Anniversary Point. All are exposed to the easterly wind waves, which average 1 m and more. They are all backed by dense low heath that rises gently to 20 m then steeply to more than 200 m, 1 km inland. Beach T 1031 commences in the northern corner of the bay and trends to the southeast for 300 m to a 100 m long section of bare sloping rocks. The beach is composed of cobbles, fronted by continuous 50 m wide ridged-intertidal rocky flats. Beach T 1032 continues on the southern side of the rocks for another 300 m and consists of two slight crenulations located either side of a central shallow rock reef. The two embayed sections of the beach have 20 m wide gaps in the reefs that contain permanent rips when waves are breaking.
Beach Length: 0.3km
