Cathedral Rocks are a sea stack located on the northern side of a 250 m wide semi-circular bay with beach T 1029 located in its northwest corner. It is a 100 m long cobble beach located at the base of a steep, narrow valley, with steep partly vegetated slopes to either side and rock flats widening from 30 m in the south to 80 m at the northern end.
Beach T 1030 is located 300 m to the south between two elongate rocky points. The 50 m long high tide cobble beach faces east and curves between the base of the points. It slopes into the deep water of the bay, with a rip running out between the points during high waves.
