Mary Ann Cove (T 1020) is located on the eastern side of the small boundary rocks and curves slightly to the northeast for 250 m to the next rock outcrop (Fig. 4.221). This is a steep, narrow cobble beach, fronted by near continuous intertidal rock flats that extend 100 m offshore at low tide. The beach is sheltered by three small islets off the flats, with usually low wave to calm conditions along the shore. It is backed by a low vegetated foredune, then a gravel road that runs to a boat-launching site at the eastern end of the beach. Some of the rocks have been cleared to provide a sandy channel for the boats to use.
Beach Length: 0.25km
