Beach T 1013 is located immediately east of Picnic Beach with a low partly vegetated rock outcrop separating the two. The beach trends to the east-northeast for 200 m to the next main rock outcrop, with several smaller outcrops along the intertidal beach. Wave energy decreases to the east with the low tide bar narrowing to 50 m and waves dropping to less than 1 m and the surf zone less than 50 m wide. During periods of higher waves small rips form against the inter- to low tide rocks. A vehicle track leads to the western end crossing the low foredune to the beach. The remainder of the beach is backed by a low vegetated foredune with a small usually blocked creek reaching the centre of the beach.
Beach Length: 0.2km
