Beach T 1018 is located at the western end of the Rocky Cape community. It is a low curving 100 m long narrow beach, bordered by rocky shoreline to the west and an attached islet in the east. Between the two rocky boundaries is a 30 m wide gap, which permits only low waves to reach the shore. Within the small bay is a shallow sand and rocky seafloor exposed on spring lows. The beach is usually calm, with a central rock outcrop, a grassy backbeach and several houses located 50 m behind.
