Beach T 1017 lies 100 m beyond and is an 80 m long pocket of high tide sand, bordered and fronted by steeply dipping sedimentary rocks. In addition rock reefs extend 200 m offshore resulting in low waves at the high tide beach, with the rocks and reefs exposed at low tide. The beach can only be accessed on foot around the rocks.
