Dartys Corner is the name of the next small embayment located 1 km north of Eva Point. The corner is located on the southern side of a 250 m long rocky point that continues seaward for another 500 m as rocks and reefs. Beach T 871 extends south of the corner for 400 m to the irregular section of rocky shore that continues to Eva Point. The beach faces southwest but is sheltered by the outer and inner reefs with low waves at the shore and reflective beach conditions. The shoreline protrudes slightly in the centre in lee of a large rock located 200 m offshore, with some waves usually breaking across the reefs off the southern end. It is backed by a 100 m wide area of low grassy foredune, then the older vegetated parabolic dunes that extend up to 3 km inland to an elevation of 50 m. The older dunes have aligned the drainage parallel to the ridges, with the small Little Eel Creek draining to the northern end of the beach. Two fishing shacks are located on the low northern point, which is accessible via a 1 km sidetrack off the main Sandy Cape track. The beach is also used for launching small fishing boats.
Beach Length: 0.4km
