Beach T 870 commences at the islet and curves to the north, then north-northwest for 1.6 km to the lee of the small Eva Point. While there are scattered reefs off the beach and in the northern surf zone it receives waves averaging over 1.5 m which break across a 50-100 m wide bar, drained by permanent boundary rips against the rocks and two to three beach rips. The beach is backed by a grassy foredune, then the older vegetated transgressive dunes that extend up to 800 m inland. In addition to the southern No Mans Creek, Pardoe and a second small creek parallel the older dune ridges to drain across the centre of the beach.
