Beach T 872 is located 500 m south of Richardson Point in a small west-facing rocky bay. The 80 m long beach is composed of high tide cobbles, with a rock- and boulder-dominated inter- to low tide zone. It is sheltered by inner rocks and reefs with low waves at the shore, particularly at low tide. A 4WD track runs along the crest of the cobble ridge.
