Beach RI 1 commences at the meandering mouth of the Little Creek, a small tidal creek that drains some of the western slopes of White Rock Ridge. At the creek mouth the tidal flats extend 11 km due west to Woolnorth Point but narrow to 1 km by the northern end of the beach (Fig. 4.206). The low narrow high tide beach commences at the creek mouth and trends north before curving round to the northeast for 4.7 km, terminating at a low protruding rock outcrop, where a vehicle track reaches the shore. The beach is backed by a series of low beach ridges and south trending spits, which widen to 500 m at the creek mouth.
Beach Length: 4.7km
General Hazard Rating: 1/10
