Glenvar Beach (T 420) is a 250 m long west-facing headland-bound beach located on the southern side of Opossum Bay. The beach receives waves averaging about 0.4 m, which usually surge up a moderately steep reflective beach (Fig. 4.75). It is backed by a row of beachfront houses with boat sheds, some boat ramps and seawalls spread along the beach. The houses continue along the boundary 10 m high bluffs and around the northern point into Opossum Bay.
