Fort Beach T 414 is an 80 m long pocket of south-facing sand located on the western side of the 20 m high tip of the cape, with 20 m high bluffs backing and bordering the small beach. The cleared slopes of the cape back the bluffs and rise towards 110 m high Fort Hill. The beach faces south towards the small Iron Pot islet and its lighthouse with a series of rock reefs extending off the eastern end of the beach south to the Pot, which reduces waves to less than 1 m. They break across a moderately steep reflective to narrow low tide terrace beach.

General Hazard Rating: 5/10
