Alfhild Bight commences 800 m to the north and is a curving 700 m wide west-facing rocky bay containing three beaches (T 680-682). The beaches are sheltered by reefs within the bay as well as Hobbs Island and the Alfhild and Horseshoe reefs, all of which extend between 1 and 3 km west of the bight. Beach T 680 is located in the southern corner and faces north up the bay. It is sheltered from direct swell with waves averaging less than 0.5 m at the shore. The 200 m long sandy beach is fronted by shore-perpendicular rock ridges that also form the bay floor.
