Dennis Gulch is the name of the next small rocky embayment located 400 m to the north. Beach T 679 is a curving crenulate 300 m long high tide sand and cobble beach located along the southern and eastern shore of the 200 m wide V-shaped bay. It is sheltered by its orientation and protected location, together with intertidal rock platforms extending up to 100 m off the western end of the beach. The reef narrows to provide a small sandy central access point to the beach. The beach is backed by higher wave-deposited boulders and rocky slopes, grading into initially sparsely vegetated slopes.
