Beach T 702 commences 300 m to the west of Cowrie Beach. It is a 250 m long series of three strips of high tide cobbles, separated and fronted by irregular rock outcrops and rock reef extending 50-100 m offshore where waves average over 1 m at the outer rocks. Beach T 703 continues 100 m to the west and is a sand and cobble high tide beach that extends west in two sections for 200 m, both fronted by rocks and intertidal rocks flats that narrow to the west. In addition reefs extend up to 200 m offshore lowering waves at the shore to less than 0.5 m. Both beaches are backed by low stunted vegetation and gently rising slopes.
