Beach T 1131 is located just inside on the eastern side of the shallow 200 m wide Don River mouth and trends south into the mouth for 200 m as a crenulate cobble beach. This is a very low energy beach fronted by rock flats that widen to 100 m at the mouth, where it is bordered by intertidal basalt rocks and reef. It is backed by a grassy park, with parking at the northern end.
