Beach T 1261 is a straight 200 m long northwest-facing beach located between the end of the rocky shore and a low rocky point and reef. It is slightly more exposed than its neighbouring beaches and has a narrow low tide bar, then an apron of intertidal rocks, with a shallow sandy seafloor beyond and the seagrass meadows 300 m offshore. It is backed by small foredune then dense shrubby vegetation. A 4WD track follows to the rear of the beach. Beach T 1262 commences on the eastern side of the small point and trends to the east for 900 m. It is a continuous high tide sandy beach fronted by continuous 200 m wide intertidal rock flats, then sand and finally the seagrass meadows 400 m offshore. Low shrubby vegetation backs the beach with the 4WD track running 100 m inland parallel to the shore. A small creek draining the backing slopes flows across the centre of the beach.
