Cod Bay beach (T 36) commences at the tip of the foreland and curves to the south, then south-southeast for 4.2 km to the next cluster of shore-attached granite boulders. Reflective to low tide terrace conditions prevail the length of the beach. It is backed by a 10 m high foredune, breached by two small creeks including Cobler Creek, and two to three inner foredunes, including a 300 m wide foredune plain south of the southern creek (Fig. 4.8). The foredunes are backed by deflected creeks and elongate wetlands, with the entire system up to 500 m wide.
