Beach T 26 continues southeast of the foreland for 2 km to the prominent sandy Cape Naturaliste. Waves average just over 1 m along the beach, decreasing to the lee of the cape. These maintain a 40 m wide low tide terrace, with rips forming during periods of higher waves. A vegetated foredune then vegetated Pleistocene longwalled parabolic dunes and waterlogged deflation basins run at a tangent to the beach and across the rear of the cape. These form a heath-covered freshwater wetland.
Beach Length: 2km
General Hazard Rating: 5/10
