Beach T 1258 commences at the sandy foreland and curves to the southeast, then east for 2.9 km to the beginning of a 2 km long section of low rock and sand shore. The beach receives waves averaging about 0.5 m, which maintain a continuous low tide bar, grading into shallow sandy seafloor, then a mixture of seagrass meadows and shallow rocks and reefs. It is backed by a densely vegetated series of several foredune ridges, which are 250 m wide in the west and narrow to the east. The eastern foreland is used for launching small boats at high tide, while a small creek runs along the rear of the ridges and drains out across the centre of the beach.
Beach Length: 2.9km
