Beach T 1255 forms the eastern side of the 100 m long vegetated tombolo, which is tied to a low 1 ha basalt point. The beach curves to the east for 200 m terminating in lee of a 50 m wide band of intertidal rocks and reefs. It is partly sheltered from westerly waves and is moderately steep and reflective, with only a 20 m long clear sandy section, the remainder fronted by rocks and reef. It is backed by a grassy foreland and some minor vegetated dune transgression, with well vegetated dune-covered rocky shore extending 1.3 km east to Tomahawk Point.
Beach Length: 0.2km
