Beach T 1251 commences in lee of Waterhouse Point, 500 m south of the tip. It curves initially to the south, then southeast as a double crenulate beach for 1.9 km, terminating at a small rock-tipped sandy foreland. It is a continuous sandy high tide beach fronted by a 100 m wide low tide bar grading into a shallow sandy sea floor, with patchy seagrass beyond and a few granite rocks and reefs out off the beach. It is sheltered by Waterhouse Point from westerly waves, with waves usually 0.5 m or less, which maintain a low gradient beach usually littered with seagrass debris. There is vehicle access to the northern end where a few fishing shacks are located, together with a few shacks located in amongst the scrub that backs the beach.
Beach Length: 1.9km
