Beach T 1248 curves to the northeast of the small foreland for 200 m to the next small sandy foreland, which protrudes to the lee of a small rock islet located 100 m offshore, and is tied to the beach at low tide. Rocks also outcrop along the beach with some rock reefs exposed at low tide. The narrow beach is backed by scrubby transgressive dunes that cover the 150 m wide tip of the point. Beach T 1249 occupies the eastern side of the foreland. It is a 50 m long strip of sand fronted by a 100 m low tide bar that terminates against the northernmost granite rocks of the point. It faces northwest, with the islet and foreland to the west and other rock reefs off the eastern end.
Beach Length: 0.2km
