Beach T 1240 lies 150 m to the north and is an 80 m long pocket of sand wedged in between small dolerite points, with rocks and reef extending 100 m offshore leaving a narrow central sandy beach and seafloor. During high waves a single rip drains out the centre of the beach with the outer bar 200 m offshore. Beach T 1241 lies 50 m to the north and is a straight 100 m long southwest-facing beach, bordered to the north by 15 m high Croppies Point which protrudes 200 m to the west. Rocks and rock reef dominate the northern half of the beach, with a permanent rip draining out against the southern rocks, and the outer bar moving to within 150 m of the shore as waves decrease in lee of the point. Both beaches are backed by well vegetated transgressive dunes. A 4WD track runs out to Croppies Point with a track down to the beach, and another to a solitary shack located on the ridge between the two beaches.
