Croppies Beach (T 1238) is an exposed 200 m long west-facing beach that has a wide low gradient beach and inner bar drained by one rip against the northern point, with an outer bar that extends continuously off all four beaches. It is bordered to the south by 42 m high South Croppies Point which extends 700 m to the west, and an irregular 500 m long more subdued point that separates it from beach T 1239 (Fig. 4.382). It is backed by vegetated longwalled parabolic dunes that extend 3 km inland to 116 m high Hardwickes Hill.
