Beach T 1244 commences 200 m west of Herbies Landing with the easternmost dolerite rocks forming its western boundary. It trends to the northeast for 800 m as a narrow high tide beach, with numerous rock outcrops along the beach and a series of rock reefs extending up to 300 m off the centre of the beach. A low tide bar parallels the beach, with an irregular shallow sandy seafloor extending out to the reefs. There is vehicle access off the main track to the southern end of the beach, while vegetated transgressive dunes rising to 30 m back the beach. A 100 m long section of steep rocky shore backed by a now stabilising clifftop parabolic dune separates it from beach T 1245. This beach initially curves round in lee of the rocks then trends to the northeast for 300 m to the next section of rocky shore. It is a continuous high tide sand beach fronted by a 100 m wide low tide bar and sandy seafloor. The low tide bar extends continuously linking all the beaches to the west of the point. Four wheel drive tracks reach both ends of the beach.
