Beach FI 50 marks the transition from the longer sandy beaches to the south to the rock-dominated beaches to the west. It is a 250 m long, southwest-facing strip of high tide sand, with sloping granite rocks and reefs dominating the intertidal zone and extending 50-100 m offshore to the seagrass meadows, with only a few patches of clear intertidal sand. A low grassy foredune then partly cleared farmland backs the beach, with a small creek draining out across the central rocks.
