Beach FI 116 is a protruding northwest-facing sand foreland tied to a small bare granite islet with a larger islet immediately offshore. The sandy beach spreads either side of the small foreland, with a low grassy foredune between the two sides, and older densely vegetated transgressive dunes spreading over the slopes to the west. Rocks dominate the foreshore, with only a small patch of clear subtidal sand at the western end of the beach.
