Bottlerock Beach (FI 106) lies 500 m to the north in a 100 m wide, 300 m deep steep-sided embayment. The slightly curving 100 m long beach lies at the rear of the little bay, with a grassy foredune then steep vegetated slopes rising to 50 m behind. It receives waves lowered by the entrance rocks and reefs to about 0.5 m at the shore, where they maintain a low gradient reflective beach. A rough 4WD track descends the valley, with tracks leading along the steep shoreline either side of the beach.
Beach Length: 0.1km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
