Beach FI 87 lies 100 m to the west and is a 150 m long sandy south-facing reflective beach, with scattered granite rocks occupying about half the low tide foreshore, and seagrass growing to within 50 m of the shore. It has a 10 m high foredune at its eastern end and a lower hummocky grass, then tea-tree-covered foredune along the remainder. Beach FI 88 lies 50 m to the west and is a 400 m long continuation, with a high tide sandy beach and intertidal dominated by rock outcrops, with sand patches in between. It terminates at a low rock outcrop with a low grassy foredune then tea-trees backing the entire beach.
