Beach FI 101 lies 300 m further west and consists of a 250 m long high tide sandy beach, bordered by steep granite to the east and a scattering of rocks and boulders to the west. The beach has one clear sandy patch to the east with intertidal rocks dominating the remainder and extending up to 200 m offshore and seagrass beyond. It is backed by a scarped well vegetated foredune, then dense tea-trees, with some cleared land on the backing slopes.
