Beach FI 121 is a curving 250 m long sandy beach bordered by granite rocks and fronted by a 100 m wide bar, with a rip running out against the northern rocks during higher waves. It is backed by transgressive dunes, which have climbed 500 m up the backing slopes to an elevation of 40 m. There is some minor instability behind the beach, with the bulk of the dunes densely vegetated. Beach FI 122 lies 100 m to the north and is a 300 m long strip of high tide sand fronted by continuous irregular granite rocks and reefs that extend up to 150 m offshore, with a sandy seabed beyond. During periods of high waves surf breaks over the sand, with a rock-strewn surf zone in between and a rip draining out against the northern rocks.
Beach Length: 0.25km
