Buffalos Beach (FI 29) is an 800 m long southwest-facing reflective beach that grades into patchy seagrass meadows within 50 m of the shore. It is bordered and interrupted by granite rocks in the east and terminates at a small granite point and sandy creek mouth in the west. It is backed by a 200 m long spit in the west, with a 20 m high foredune exposed to the strong westerly winds behind the remainder.
