Beach FI 26 commences 700 m west of the point and is a slightly curving southwest-facing 900 m long beach, bordered by 15 m high sloping granite points, with Little River draining across the western end of the beach. The beach consists of a low gradient high tide reflective beach in the more exposed east, grading into 50 m wide sand flats in the west, with seagrass fringing at low tide the length of the beach. It is backed by a densely vegetated foredune that increases in size to the east where it has transgressed up to 500 m inland and to an elevation of 45 m. The high foredune is scarped towards the east exposing mid-Holocene paleosols.
