Beach FI 44 commences 200 m to the west and is a curving southwest-facing 800 m long narrow strip of high tide sand, fronted by tidal flats that extend up to 1 km west to Long Point. A shallow 100 ha embayment extends north of the two points and backs Long Point and Long Point Beach (FI 47). Low scrub-covered land backs the beach, with a small creek draining out across the northern end.
