Beach T 1194 is located 2 km southeast of Five Mile Bluff and is a curving north-facing 700 m long beach, bordered to either end by vegetated basalt slopes rising to 20-30 m. The beach receives moderate protection from the bluffs with waves averaging up to 1 m, which maintain a 150 m wide low tide bar. During higher waves two to three rips are formed across the low tide bar, their morphology persisting into lower wave conditions. The beach is backed by vegetated Holocene transgressive dunes that drape Pleistocene dunes, both extending up to 1 km east to Curries Rivulet. A 4WD track reaches the eastern end of the beach.
Beach Length: 0.7km
General Hazard Rating: 5/10
