Beach T 1214 commences 500 m east of the tip of Pipers Head and consists of a crenulate narrow discontinuous, 500 m long strip of high tide sand and cobbles. It is fronted by steeply dipping folded greywacke that forms ridges across the beach and extends seaward as intertidal flats that average 100 m in width. A 4WD track from Bellingham reaches the rear of the beach and spreads out into a series of tracks that link to several fishing shacks located in the scrubby vegetation along the beach. Beach T 1215 commences at the eastern base of Pipers Head and trends straight northeast for 2.1 km to the extensive rock reefs off the Little Pipers River mouth. It is a continuous high tide sand beach, fronted along the central section by a 50 m wide low tide terrace, with rock flats bordering each end and rock reefs in deeper water off the entire beach. Densely vegetated longwalled parabolic dunes back the beach, increasing in size to the north and extending across the rear of the north point, some reaching 1.6 km to the Little Piper River. The beach is accessible via the tracks from Bellingham with a few fishing shacks located towards the southern end.
