Beach T 1183 is located inside the small inner boat harbour. It is an 80 m long strip of sand backed by a low foredune. It is sheltered by an attached breakwater that extends 350 m to the southeast, as well as two small entrance groynes, with no ocean or wind waves entering the harbour. The Pilot Station Reserve extends between the boat harbour and the main beach.
