Beach T 1200 is a 150 m long strip of high tide sand located to the lee of the boundary rock flats. It only receives lowered waves at high tide, with the wide flats exposed at low tide. The beach narrows to the north as the rock flats dominate the shoreline. It is backed by a scarped 15 m high foredune and older transgressive dunes.
