Fisheries and Parsons Cove are two adjoining small beaches located on the southern side of Coles Bay and at the end of the road from Coles Bay village. The main car park for people accessing the walking tracks to Wineglass Bay and beyond is located on the slopes behind the Cove. The coves face north across the bay to the village. Fisheries beach (T 173) is a 250 m long strip of high tide sand, bordered by a rock platform and reef to the west and a 20 m high point containing a youth hostel to the east. The beach is usually calm with a strip of intertidal sand then seagrass meadows, as well as a couple of rock outcrops.
